I've been on the hunt for a good condition 2007-2008 Forester 2.5XT Sports for a couple of months, particularly, with a manual transmission. When this one popped up for sale for a reasonable price , I pounced on it. Love the look and utility of this wagon! The car has 157k miles on the dash. Although the mileage is higher than I would have preferred, I'm hoping it will last me for a long time!

Go ahead and change that timing belt just to be safe haha bought mine with 155k and it had never been changed. Just got over 200k last week. Congrats on your purchase, looks awesome

Per the maintenance reports, the timing belt was replaced at 106k mi.

Amazing find! Been in the market for a manual XT myself. Browsing Facebook marketplace and Craigslist every day. How did you find yours?

Thanks! Pretty much doing the same as you. This listing popped up with no photos on a car buy/sell site since it was a fresh trade in, but once the dealership sent me some photos and confirmed it was an XT Sports trim with a clean carfax, I pounced on it.

I paid $8995 out the door for it. The dealership was no haggle, so they wouldn't negotiate the price.

This is what I did with my 04XT. Found a clean one and rebuilt all of the mechanicals, vs buying a new car. I LOVE this car...

I saw one but a regular Fozzy with under 60k miles and price was 4k. I lagged and in an hour it had sold. Then the next day it was reposted and up for 7k

Just paid 7 for my 2012 premium, really, an 07 went for that too?
